Terms of Service — lobbylob

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the lobbylob mobile application ("the app"). By using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise accessing the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
One person per account. Do not impersonate others.
If you signed in via Google or Apple, the same Terms apply.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

Post content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, or pornographic
Post spam, scams, advertising, or promotional content
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the app or its services
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the app
Impersonate other users, public figures, or lobbylob itself
Circumvent moderation tools, account bans, or rate limits
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4. Content you post

You retain ownership of reviews, discussions, ratings, and other content you post in the app. By posting, you grant lobbylob a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service.

You are responsible for your content. lobbylob may remove content that violates these Terms or that we believe is harmful, in our sole discretion.

We provide tools to help keep the community safe: you can report reviews and discussions, and you can block other users so their content is hidden from you. We review reported content and act on violations promptly, typically within 24 hours, which may include removing content and suspending or terminating the accounts responsible. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.

Feedback and bug reports

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or a bug report (including any screenshots or videos you choose to attach), you grant lobbylob the right to use it to operate, maintain, and improve the app, without any obligation or compensation to you. You are responsible for the content you submit, it must comply with the acceptable-use rules above, and you should not include anything you are not permitted to share.

5. Third-party content

The app displays game metadata, cover art, screenshots, trailers, achievements, and pricing from third-party services (IGDB, Steam, IsThereAnyDeal, HowLongToBeat, YouTube, and others). lobbylob is not affiliated with these services. Their content remains the property of their respective owners.

6. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Account & Security → Delete account).

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or pose a risk to other users. We will provide notice when reasonably possible.

7. Service availability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of game data, or that the app will be free of bugs. Features may change or be removed without notice.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lobbylob disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lobbylob and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data, lost profits, or service interruption.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which lobbylob's developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Apple App Store

The following applies if you download the app from the Apple App Store:

These Terms are concluded between you and lobbylob only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price you paid for the app (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
lobbylob, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar laws.
lobbylob, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
You must comply with all applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.
